O level ( Day 1)

First day of O level.

Mr. Paper stared fixedly on me with mournful, basset-hound eyes.

I gaped at him and said dont look so woebegone!

The sky started to twirl like a flourish made with a pen.

I leaned against the back of the chair and looked up.

Clouds are moving!

I am astonish!

Such a small finding,

I feel like Newton discovering Gravity.

A fruitful day is use up looking at sky,

What have i done?

20 days more!!

We have to work hard and

We will be able to achieve our goals.

But time isn't waiting for us.

It slips through our fingers like water.

Just so, if you do not know, we're either too busy studying/practising so we'll only update when free.

O LEVEL COMING!

FEAR

Without it its scary. With it, it is also scary. Its a paradox - FEAR


Some argue that with fear, it is possible to cause panic and chaos within that one can't do anything.

But i argue that without the fear, I'm being too complacent.


FOR EXAMPLE, A handphone

If your afraid to lose your handphone, you'll keep it safe. Somewhere that it will not get damaged of stolen. Because if it did happened, you'll panic and go in a chaos and a million thoughts will run through your mind.


BUT if your not afraid, you'll just leave it wherever convenient like on the coffee shop table. Obviously you dont' wish for it to be stolen or should i say.. You trust Singapore is safe and just leave it there as you felt that crime is LOW(But not NO)


Lets put this in context with studies. Yes I'm not afraid of the O level challenge. But I do know myself that I'll do really badly if i attempt O level now. It just doesn't seem right. I lack fear in my life.


Its really humid and hot nowadays in Singapore. Pretty screwed up weather. Too hot unable to concentrate on studies(YES THIS IS AN EXCUSE)


NEEED TO STUDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!

EIGHTEEN

With a mere 18 days left to the commencement of the O levels, we are still practising flourishes and studying.

Until the day where a single digit is left on the countdown board, I will still practise in my free time.


Oh and I've got my sharpie baby! A universal writing material that most magicians use.

Teachers really gave us piles of other school's preliminary paper for us to practise. Here i go, off to work!
